Date - 06/14/08

Entry - Today is Friday.  We have not been able to go out much because it has been raining soo much!  Taylor had her 2nd stem cells on Monday and this time she did very well.  They gave her something to relax her, as she has to lay flat on her back for 6 hours after the treatment to prevent a massive headache.  They also gave her oxygen over night and that really helped.  I am really missing home, my family and friends.  We love you all and thanks for visiting her blog!!!!!

Entry -  YES!!!!  We are here!  It has been so busy since we arrived.  Taylor did great on the plane ride over, much better than her mother!  She has been a busy girl with physical theraphy and speech tharaphy.  She has this once a day.  She had her first stem cells on Friday.  It was very hard on her.  She ran a fever for about two days, and has finally started feeling better.   It is hot over here now which those of you who know me well, its the weather I like best.  It is good to have Angie here with us, she brings comic relief and a good shoulder.  We are missing all of you very much and I will write soon.

Entry - Hello again!!!  We have been quite busy lately and I apoligize for not writing sooner.  I want to thank everyone who has been so busy helping with Taylor's fundraising.  First, a big thank you to Mrs. Chance and her para's at northside!!  They sold raffle tickets at the carnival and did a great job!  We couldn't ask for better staff and friends at her school.  Thank you also to Madison Wurtele who went to student council for Taylor.  You are number one in our book!!  Nebr. City Middle School held a sun glasses and slippers day for Taylor and it was a great success.   Thanks also to all of the help for the garage sale.  Julie kruse , Tammi Thompson, Traci Anthens, and Angie Sharp  worked for a week straight trying to sort  through all the donatinos!  We ended up with  3 garages full of stuff!  Thank You to all who donated to make this a success, we are overwhelmed with gratitude!!!!  Tracey Juranek also organized the bake sale and it was great and very tastie!!  Many thanks to the families who have donated to her fund including Farmer's Bank, Ester McCown, St. Mary's Church, Barbara Neeman, Gress Farms, Roy and Ruth Baker, Sam Tedro and Lou Hunter, Clay and Donna Smith, Mike and Lana Gilson, Ron and Kathy Lechner, Bill and Nadine Meyer, Betty and Bernard Schmitz, Rose Miller, Cliff and Jean Kreifels , Virgil and Maxine Reuter, Duanne Ahrends, Marion Taylor, Jose and Paula Aldana, Ivan Borner and Jamie Victor!!!!!!!!!!!   We are so greatful for the love of so many people!!  Also a huge thank you to the Lutheran Church, they held a brunch today, words cannot express how much we appreciate all of you!!  If you can make to the poker run on Saturday at P.J.'s we would love to see everyone there!!!   If you don't ride, come at 6:00p.m. for food and fun!!!!

Entry- Hello again!  It has been a week since my last blog, so I wanted to write and update on some of the upcoming dates.  We have distributed all of our raffle tickets  and they are selling fast!  Hopefully we will have a large pot to give away on May 24th!  I will have a full list of ticket sellers(Taylor's angels) soon.   Taylor is very excited as she has been promised a ride on Mark's motorcycle!  We have also set the dates for the garage sale; April 25th and 26th, we are asking for anything that you would want to donate and we would love to have help also.  We are going to sell bags for 5.00, so no pricing, just show up on Friday if you would like to help!  Please feel free to call or ask any questions you may have!  402-873-4959 or cindy@hopefortaylorgude.com.  We hank you all soooo much and are very greatful to be a part of this wonderful community!

Entry-  WOW!  I am so excited to start writing on Taylor's blog!!!  As all of you are aware we are scheduled to return to China for umbilical stem cell treatments for Taylor June 1st.  We returned from her first treatments Jan. 13 and we have seen more progress from these treatments than any other theraphy.  I would like to take this opportunity to send out my heartfelt thank you's to all who have given time and talent to better the quality of life for our precious daughter.  Matt and Tammi Thompson, you guys rock!!  Matt designed Taylor's web site for her which I am sure took many of hours of work and care.  Thank You!!!  Tammi has  put in countless hours of time on fundraising projects and the toughest job of all, keeping her friend from mental breakdown!  Thank You!!!!  The entire Spidell:family, I had the pleasure of meeting this family for the first time in April and I thank God for bringing them into our lives.  What wonderful people!!!  Thank You!!!!  And thanks to many of my friends and family  who have been there for us through thick and thin; Mom, Connie, Angie, Traci,  Aimee .  We are truly blessed to have you guys in our lives.  To all who have donated:  John Rash, Kathy Duffy, Monica Welsh, Amy Williams and Jon Spale you are truly Taylor's angels!!!!  Please check back often and be sure to e-mail me with any questions or comments!!
